About

Emergency Call 112 – The Fire Fighting Simulation is an exciting, fully detailed simulation of the eventful life of a big city fire department. It was developed in cooperation with and modelled on the fire brigade of Mülheim, Germany. Mülheim has one of the largest and most modern fire stations in Europe. Particular attention was paid to realism and accuracy in creating the various missions.

Never before has a simulation offered such great level of detail for the fire department vehicles, including and especially the LF24, the fire truck. All of the equipment and functionality have been incorporated. The water tender, turntable ladder and swap body vehicle are also fully functional and available for the virtual fireman. An command vehicle is also included. And of course, equipment can be removed and kept available for later use.

Accidents involving cars and trucks, oil slicks, external and internal fires requiring breathing equipment, these exciting scenarios are randomly generated and promise hours of excitement. The authentic spread of the fires and lifelike, movable fire hoses with realistic handling needed to fight the fire make for an authentic playing experience.

Turn on the emergency lights and sirens and experience one of the world’s most exciting professions – the fire brigade. No previous fire simulation has gone to such lengths to provide such depth and realism.

As an avid Firefighter, I had huge Hope in this Game. A fire Brigade simulation in which you work with the AI? Realistic Water supply? Dynamic Fire spread? Sounded great, but wasn't really well implemented unfortunately. You start on guard where you plop out of the Ground with your AI comrades. Everyone runs apart (or messed up, literally!) and spreads across the Guard. So Far so good. But we quickly realize that we have nothing to do except wait for Bets. Then off you go: It's going on, there's a nice Saying coming and everyone's running up and beaming their way into the Vehicles. Once On Assignment, everyone gets out and stands. Nothing happens. Everyone stands by and doesn't do anything. Rebooted over The Main Menu and it works. Occasionally, the AI suspends anyway, especially if you do something that isn't provided for in the Script. But When it works, it looks nice as the Comrades build up a Water Supply. Even if the Tubes and Breathing Air are infinite, which seems a bit ridiculous. Fire spread is virtually non-existent, nor Is smoking Wizwork. So all the Tension of the Fire brigade is lost, because you always work according to Schema F, no Space for Improvisation or your own Decisions. Especially since you felt constantly driving to the same Places. For smoke alarm systems, this may be reasonably Authentic, but if you delete the same Dustbin four times in a row, the City Cleaning should sometimes consider putting it somewhere else. THY essays are a bad Joke. The RTW crew stands motionless next to it and then enters their RTW without the Victim and drives away to The End of The order. Furthermore, the Team feeling does not come across well. Everyone works alone, even though the Fire BRIGADE always deals with 2 squads. I could continue with things like this For hours but there is one Element that is quite Fun, which is the Mission drive. It is Great Fun to board through the empty streets with Continuous Horn. The AI even keeps an Order in the Vehicles (as the first ELW then lf24 THEN DLK and so on. It is strange that ALL Cars with Warning Blinkers are set aside, even if they are not standing in our Street. If you Drive into an AI vehicle, it just disappears without a trace. I was particularly pleased when rear-view Mirrors were inserted, with which ranking in 1st Person and parking is really Fun. Even if you don't have a Body in 1st person I recommend driving in the same. Unfortunately, the MAschinist has nothing more to do after that. The Performance is a Disaster. I Just bought a new PC that is ahead of the minimum Requirements of the Game by Lengths. Even so, I'm plagued by Graphic Bugs, Glitches and Crashes. Even after endless Attempts at attitude, I was not allowed a Playable Performance. Add To that a Multiplayer that doesn't work and an overpriced DLC with the same Problems. Why bring out a DLC before the Main Game works? Battlefield also makes, but clearly the most Bugs are fixed at least relatively fast. Emergency 112, however, has been dragging these Problems around since Release. Too bad With a Bleach heart I advise off Buying. Unfortunately, it is still not the Revelation for Fire brigade fans. I hope that at some point the almighty Patch comes which eliminates all the Problems, but that Hope dwindles with each Passing day. Unfortunately, it is now too late for a Return to Steam.
