Observed is based in the portuguese traditional childhood game "1, 2, 3 Macaquinho do Chinês", also known as the Statue game.
The player is stuck in a room with a monster and needs to get to the key so they can open the door and escape. In order to avoid being detected by the monster, the player needs to freeze which only happens if they can type the displayed sequence in time. The player moves forward automatically (no action needed).
Observed was done for the 2020 edition of the Houdini Game Jam under the theme "Don't Panic!".

How was Houdini used in your game's development?
Houdini was used to model all of our 3D assets.
Besides Houdini, what other tools did you use and what did you use them for?
We used: - Substance Painter for texturing UVs ; - Photoshops for designing the buttons, game over and start screens aswell as the logo; - Unity to create the environments and some textures.
List any content that was created before the jam that was included in the final submission.
We downloaded the sound samples from https://www.looperman.com, some PBR textures downloaded from https://source.substance3d.com and the fonts (Montserrat Black and Arial Narrow).
