Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas reviews

A decent Zelda clone.  I didn’t really enjoy this on my phone, but the Switch port is great.  It really fills the Wind Waker void in my life.

Servus People, after 12.5h I now had the Story through and Played it until Reaching about 13.5h. Rest of the Time I would see as a Pausing, as I have also gone between times AFK. Game Completed with Some Nebendingers (Collecting Stuff, exploring Islands), and must say YES it already resembles strongly with The Legend of Zelda. But I have to say that the Game itself unfortunately does not come up with the same. Clearly Oceanhorn has nice Approaches (but most of them are known about Zelda), but I find that the Story is nice, but at the same time it comes across me as a 0815 Story. But I have to say something about PC Games that are longer or by The Legend of Zelda parts and their long Story, because of course these have now been specially developed for this purpose. Oceanhorn, on the other Hand, for iOS, i.e. for Tablets and mobile Phones ... You can also see this, especially since the game is very short, which for me indicates the lower Capacity of these Devices. I don't think it's a Bad Game yet, you can have fun with it. However, I also think that it has a slightly too high Price for the Game length (€14.99, 28.03.2015, self-purchased on the 19.03.2015). Have played it with Gamepad And must say the Port has already succeeded, never the Feeling that something is wrong. The Camera of the Game is from above, with the Gamepad you can look along left stick a bit to the Left, Right, top or bottom, but the View remains on this Bird's Eye view, which can not really be described as such, is more son Diagonalesding. I didn't necessarily mind that, even if there were situations that bothered me because of the Camera, for example, no longer seeing enemies, especially those who were in the Air. The Graphic is somewhat reminiscent of the Zelda Part by boat, so I find the Developers have taken these Parts as a Model, which I think can also be seen by the Choice of boat. All in all, I would say you can Buy it, it's good Game, but shouldn't expect too much if you know the Zelda Parts or are used to bigger Games, because of the Port. It's a nice and well done game for between, for € 15pm (28.03.2015) but I would have expected considerably more. So My Recommendation is, Yes you can buy it, but vllt prefer wenns is in the Sale, so I would rather leave my Fingers off. I hope it has brought you something to read here! :) Mfg Caraster P.S. again briefly at a Glance-short story (vllt 11h story, with Tröghs 12.5h I would say)-resembles a Zelda strong-Puzzles are present, some quite obviously others rather not. By and large, however, the obvious ones outweigh the ones. Some Objects or Puzzles I found ... Unnecessarily ...-Porting has succeeded-Price is too high, dear Wait for sale-A Game for In Between-Story has succeeded in my Opinion, but son 0815 Thing. Recommended: Yes, but only by Sale, and you shouldn't Expect too much.

Great graphics. But this mobile game port to the Switch had sluggish controls, which makes sense for a mobile touch game, but I didn't like with a controller. Every island, every town, every dungeon room was a maze in itself. It made traversal a real chore. It was more like the worse parts of Links Awakening where you cannot run from one place to another, less like Link to the Past, where the puzzles were environmental and walking around a dungeon room was straightforward.
Droped it. Waste of time and money.
