On A Roll 3D reviews

Gameplay On A Roll 3D is a Platformer Where you play a small Ball. Instead of running, you roll through the Levels and can jump additionally. You have to avoid Obstacles and solve minor Puzzles, which generally involve moving 1 -2 Boxes correctly or letting a Roll roll to the right Side. The Puzzles themselves are very light and I would almost not even call them Puzzles. The Levels There are a total of 6 Levels divided into 4 Areas that you can play individually. The first 3 Sections are normal Levels, the fourth is always a Boss level. The level/areas are Mainly different from the Setting and gradually new Traps are added. The Opponents The normal Opponents are all balls with different Characteristics such as rolling, jumping, Barbed Skin etc. on the whole it is actually only 1 Enemy type which has been offset with different Characteristics. The Bosses in Total there are 6 Bosses, in each 4th area of a Level one. In Theory, you can say that you fight the same boss in each Level, but they always get new Properties, so in the first Area it only rolls to the left doer right, because it jumps in the next Area already and it continues to develop until the last Level until you are nen bouncing Ball has to grow on the Sting and disappear again. The Combat System The Combat System is kept very simple, so the character/knows the Sphere actually only 2 States. On the Ground, the Bullet is vulnerable from all Opponents and can die. First Of all, the Ball loses its Stars that can be collected in the Levels (Similar to the Rings in Sonic) and when it has no rings it dies. Opponents are killed by pure contact. As soon As the Ball jumps (Jump animation) it is in Combat Mode and destroys all the Enemies it hits, with a few Exceptions. It is important To note that the Bullets with Spines cannot be combated and tend to be more of a Trap. The Game Ephysics When loading the Game there is a Charging Point Physics which makes the presumption that the Game is subject to physical laws, which I unfortunately cannot confirm completely. Although The Ball starts to roll in sloping Areas, even with 75% reduction, this is very slow. The Physics are very small and one should not hope for a physical Simulator here. The Control The Game can be controlled with Keyboard and Controller. However, Controller control is only partially possible because, for example, you can't switch to Menus from the Game via the Controller. Most Of the Controller's Buttons are linked as a Jump Button. The Control itself runs very smoothly and the Ball can be controlled very precisely. In General, I find the Control very well implemented. Positives-Good Control-6 Levels with 4 Areas each = > 24 Level Areas-Runs Stable and Liquid-high Scorice list Neutrales-collectible cards-Achievements-Through after about 3-4h Playing time negatives-physics-Opponents and bad quite Monotonous and very simple (Bosses rather annoying than Challenging from Level 4) Conclusion A nice little Platformer With a few Deficiencies, but for €4am or less still in the Sale you can spend some Fun hours in it.
