Product received for free Very Good Platformer-not too difficult, not too easy To Info: I tested this Game as a beta tester and now have the Full Version. The Price is acceptable in my Opinion, so I would also buy it if I hadn't already got it in the Course of the beta test.
' On Rusty Trails ' is a nice and entertaining Platformer. The Graphics are unique due to the Mix of the 3D environment and the "Black Pants" drawing style and, I think, very appealing. I especially liked the Music, which has since been inserted very appropriately to the Levels. Since there was hardly any Music in the beta test, I was very positively surprised here after the Release.
The Story of the Game is told only via Pictures (/Billboards). This Method of Storytelling makes a Lot of Thought about the Environment in which the Game takes place, which only makes the Game all the more interesting to me.
Even for Perfectionists, the Game offers a lot, as the Levels can be very difficult if you try to collect all The Collectibles.
All in all, ' On Rusty Trails ' is once again a very successful "Black Pants" game that I like very much-I EMPFEHLE ES!

On Rusty Trails is a very successful Representative of the Platformer Team from the German Developer studio Black Pants Studio, who had their best Success in 2012 with Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers. At First still quite humane, the Degree of Difficulty slowly but surely increases and later develops into an absolute permadeath firework. You run through different levels with your magnetized "Tin box," and you have to Beware of dangers such as Fire, Water or radioactive Blocks. In the later Course Of the game you will find a Suit with which you can also protect yourself from water at the Touch Of a button. This "Sorphic" is also mandatory to master the Levels. As a Metal Robot, you are immune to Fire and Laser Beams. In various Passages you have to change suits in Seconds in order to be able to create them. In the Levels you will find valuable Pyramid Artefacts (also called Tokens), with which you can also activate memory Points.
The Graphics are really very successful and the Sound background absolutely coherent. For this Game, I Think a Controller is Mandatory. I played it without any Problems with both my Xbox One Controller and my Steam Controller. I didn't try it by keyboard, but dare to suggest that it's almost impossible in the later Levels.
What a Pity I think is that the Localization of the Game-even though the Developer Studio is from Germany-is kept completely in English. Maybe an Update will come for this at some point.
The almost obligatory Steam features such as Achievements (funny in German) and Trading Cards are of course also available.
9/10 Points from my Side for this entertaining, later knotted but never unfair Platformer and therefore a clear Buy recommendation from my Side!
