On the Line (itch)
About
---------------------------------------------------------
Hello, and welcome to your new and exciting role as an emergency call responder. While working with us for the next seven days you'll receive calls from countless members of our community all looking for your help. To support you in this new role your partner will be using our newly made emergency guide book, which is tailor-made to ensure you are giving the best advice and support possible. We hope you enjoy working with us.
---------------------------------------------------------
In order to play On the Line you must download the companion PDF which is available here and as a PDF from the link below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qFLsclBPjtFeR3K_5_2Ryl6L3SG8T-FT/view
Player two will be using the PDF to work out the correct emergency advice for player one to give the caller. Without using the PDF the game will be unplayable.
What is On the Line?
On the Line is a game about exploring the stresses and hardships put on emergency service workers everyday. We also hope that it will educate it's players on the lives of this vital but often forgotten aspect of the emergency services. We aimed for the guide book to be as accurate as we could make it, in order to provide the player with valuable advice for emergency situations. However, please be aware the advice giving in our game is not substitute for actual emergency advice.
On the Line was created by Red Bear Games, a group of friends, over the course of three months during the summer. The project was supported by Octopus 8 Studios.
