this is a game for an any number of people, but only one person can play a time. like a library book (credit @d). you probably won't play twice unless you make a point to, and that is up to you.

you need a key to play. in order to get a key, you'll need someone to send you one. once you have a key and open the door, the game is yours for as long as you’d like. the person who sent it to you gave you the book. if you play the game and don't pass it on, the game will end with you. your choice. please only pass the book to people you trust.

made in a week for the class "prototype studio" at the nyu game center. the theme was "a game that you can never start over".

walkthru
- receive a key, copy it (ctrl-c, cmd-c, &c)
- in game, click on the "key"
- open the door
- this might take a while, so wait after you click it
- get the "writing device" to write
- return the "writing device" to copy the key
- this is the trickiest hitbox
- send it to someone, if you want
