This is my first time working in Godot. I tried to make something somewhat ambitious, but due to poor time management and inexperience with the engine this is all I have to show. If you look through the source code, you might get an idea of what I tried to do. This game jam was a great opportunity to learn Godot and I hope to make something worthwhile from this game.

I would appreciate any advice on how to make the attacks hit enemies. I've tried a few things and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I used assets from the space shooter pack and the digital audio pack.

Controls:

Left/Right: Rotate ship

Shift or 1: Hold for slow rotation speed

Z or 2: Fire Laser
