About

Operation warcade is a shooter specifically designed for virtual reality, inspired by the late '80s classic war arcade that now uses the latest technology to convert it into a unique experience.

EXPERIENCE THE EMOTION FROM WITHIN
Thanks to the innovative immersion system, you will be able to travel inside the video game whenever you want to experience the adventure in a completely different way, like shooting from a helicopter, from a trench or from inside a tank… because why not? The power is on your side.

Operation Warcade VR reviews and comments

Cool Shooter machine simulation. You feel transported back to a Time when the Graphics were still simple, but the Fun of the Game was no less great. You can ball on the Soldiers and objects on the Monitor in classic Mode, standing in front of the Machine, as well as in Intense Mode, in which the World scrolls three-dimensionally in front of you. Both Modes have their Appeal, preferring intense mode. The Number Of Levels is likely to include at least 36 Missions, which is also employed for some Time. After all, you have to play enough Stars to advance to the next Level. The simpler Missions are likely to be played several times in order to master Special Mission conditions in order to collect the necessary Stars. The Graphics are kept in The Retrostiel, however, Soldiers are well animated and also detailed enough not to get Eye Cancer. The Soundscape is Also functional and appropriate. At most Levels, the Need for the Level is often only to play "once" in order to complete the Mission perfectly. The Control or Shooting takes place with the Motion Controllers and works perfectly thanks to the highly visible Crosshairs. Somehow, a Romes-feeling comes up with me while playing, which is exactly what I expect from a Shooter. All in all, a captivating entertaining Ball Game.

So how is it? Unique! There is not a single VR game that i could compare it to. There are 2 different modes to play the game. The first as a arcade machine simulator. You are in front of an arcade machine, take your gun and shoot at the screen. Like the real ones were you have a real gun in you hands. The only difference is that you can teleport inside the game at some set spots and shoot or drive vehicles for a short amount of time. (really cool) The 2nd (immersion mode) is what you will play porbably most of the time. Its is a bit like the first mode but instead of a small arcade cabinet screen you have a big movie theatre screen in front of you. And now it gets funny. As soon as the level starts the flat screen becomes 3d. This enables you to look into the screen to both sides beyond the boarders of the screen. This is a great idea and should be tried for other games as well. There will be 36 levels (ca. 5min per level) with 3 objektives each. Every cleared objektive gives you a star. With the stars you unlook levels and upgrades(more ammo, time....) For older people who liked the arcades back than it´s highly recommended. Also if you look for unique games and well as for showoff games. ( no explanation needed) If 20 bucks is to much for you right now leave it on your wishlist and wait for a sale. This belongs in every good VR collection. Quick update now that it left EA: Still awesome.
