Oscura: Lost Light reviews

In the face of criticisms made at Oscura, I would like to put things in their place to defend this game a bit. Yes, limbo is a reference among the cartoon games in black and white and the dark atmosphere. Yes, limbo is one of my favorite games. But at some point, you have to stop comparing everything to him. There are other games in the same style and that are just as good. The only flaw that can be blamed on Oscura is that as Toby: the secret mine, he does not draw his pin from the game. There is no real story, sometimes the character slides a little, the cutscenes are simple and some colors can hurt the eyes. But frankly, it's not as far as it makes a good game for the trash! I had a good time and I recommend this game, especially on promotion. It seems to me also to have had limbo for more expensive than Oscura, although it is not always quality indicator here is a criterion that must be taken into account because Oscura pushed a little further could really become a very very good game;)

Oscura is a medium platformer. Picking up the black side of limbo and Schein's mechanics, he is struggling to stand out with a slightly soapy handling and a story that fits on a leaf. [GRAPHICALLY AVERAGE] Graphically it's okay. The colorful side with the contrast of the black is not bad, but the animations are really average. It is also regrettable that the red color sometimes turns yellow, which sometimes gives some confusion. [WHO HAS SOAP?] Oscura has more than average maneuverability. The character slides often and the changes of direction in the air are sometimes risky. It is also sometimes unresponsive when changing power. [NOT ENOUGH CHALLENGE] Beyond that, the 21 levels do not pose any real difficulty. Some passages a little narrow, but overall it is accessible to many people. CONCLUSION I do not recommend Oscura. If you have it in a bundle, you will spend about 4H, but if you really like this kind of power change mechanics, preferred it a Schein.

While I don't know how to Rate Oscura: Lost Light for myself, I can recommend it somehow. why? Pro/Contra ... It's your turn! >:D + I like the Game Principle. You can choose how fast you want to play the Game. + Very simple Control-This is step-friendly + I personally have a Weakness for this scheme/shadow graphic ala Limbo & Ori And The Blind Forest. It has a very calming effect ...-... But Tension is never built up at any Point. -Unfortunately, the Music is not good. Every World has its own Music. As a result, the Music repeats itself in every Level of a World. Plus, she quickly becomes monotonous and boring. -This Game is bugated. Point. Cliff Through Walls or even "fly out of the World" (e.g. Chapter 7) happens without Provocation. -The Achievements are also quite busty. You have to "indulge" two Achievements. -Unfortunately, the Progress of the Game is EBENFALLS. So you collect 38/38 Items in one Level (i.e. 100%), you just don't get that more often on the Mapscreen. +/-The Puzzles are pretty simple. +/-Enemies move up and down And forget about Oscura within seconds. (Game becomes very easy as a result). +/-The first of four Collectible cards I got after three Hours Of play. Verdict: Unfortunately a very flawed but still fun Game for in between. :)-All the best-DvD PS: Sorry for this fast-clapped Review. Maybe I'll revise it again later.
