OTTTD reviews

OTTTD is as its name indicates a defensive game with towers in the far distant future, the war no longer exists on our planet. The armaments industry (and in particular the company Herocorp) is unhappy and thus invents an intra-dimensional portal. Hercorp decided to bring the war into other worlds. You work at Herocorp and your goal is to defend your mobile HQ from the attacks of the natives. You have to accompany a specialist of Herocorp, progressing, you will have several at your disposal. These specialists have a skill tree that you can develop as they progress through the levels. The game is well done and if you are a big (a big?) amateur defense games with tricks, you will love it! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=506533108 to discover all my impressions on OTTTD. OTTTD is a Tower Defense that presents well at first but that has serious flaws that hinder my opinion to make it a very good game... But let's start with the beginning, OTTD possesses a certain charm with its cartoon graphics, it is enough to see the "head" of some weapons (Lance bomb version, the snipe rifle in the form of branch,...), enemies or debris following the explosion of these (there is toilet paper, socks, hamburgers,...) to realize the humor put in this title. The different turrets are well marked, each with its positive points and its constraints (speed, power, cooldown,..) but do not think for a moment win a battle without your team because the big flaw of your enemies is to have health overinflated... And we touch one of the flaws of the game, to be able to advance you have to upgrade your team and this implies to make and redo the same or the same cards for a little while... And you go to the connaitres by heart because in the number of 25, if you take the Deluxe version, the armor and the weapon given as bonus will suffice to advance without problems on the first 14 missions, you will then have to think to change so to redo these maps whether it is p to earn money or medals (one as the other is necessary to buy the necessary equipment) or to raise your characters and it's long... And personally, I hate this aspect "RPG" because we are badly lacking content. For proof, one can apparently go to level 99... I finished the game with 3 stars in all the missions with a perso 59 and the others at the level 45... What is the point of continuing? except for a steam success that I'm not looking to have... Where we should have a real concern about where to place this or that turret, we know in advance that our characters past a certain level takes so much of a blow that nothing is problematic and to tell the truth if we have fun during the first fortnight after comes a period of weariness before that of "when I will be able to finish this f * * * * 25th mission with 3 stars?" In the end, OTTTD is a good game failing to be a very good game. Do not wait more than it can give and you will have a good time for a few hours before going to see elsewhere if the grass is greener...
