Our Darker Purpose reviews

This game will delight any rogue-like fan and more specifically the binding of Isaac. However even if it takes back what the latter offered better and adds narrative elements and additional gameplay we will regret the complexity of English, the only language available, as well as mismanagement of collisions with enemies. What's more the game is extremely difficult, I weigh my words, and therefore will not be suitable for everyone. So I strongly advise you this game if you like the genre and the difficulty because you will be served but I advise you not if it is a first for you and would guide you more towards the game having inspired. This game will punch you in the face when you start playing it, and you maybe won't like it, but as you get better, learn to defeat Goneril, then get rekt by Regan, then defeat Regan after the fourth time, then get rekt by the bloodfather , etc..., you will feel that almighty feeling : you are improving, and you are getting good at this ! I'm currently at 92% of the game, since getting every achievement is part of the core gameplay, and i am totally not tired of it. The soundtrack is heavenly, graphics are very cute, the lore is HILARIOUS and very well thought, and the gameplay is rewarding, because it IS difficult. In your first run, you'll die facing a spider desk boss. In your last one, you'll beat the entire school in Hard Mode without taking a health juice once. This game has much to offer. Also : Potato battery... 10/10 would die again

Although this game is very similar to binding of Isaac, we are offered a different approach to the game style. If the adventure of Isaac offers us an adventure that makes us feel fragile, but powerful, the adventure we are offered here is created so as to make us feel weak and lonely. This game stands out for its Tim Burton-worthy ambience, its difficulty and its subtle but effective progression. If you were looking to get your hands on a new Roguelike that is not yet a retro-looking game, you will clearly not be disappointed by this little gem. ON love:-artistic style reminiscent of Tim Burton's worlds-good rejouablity-superb ambiance-the game offers a good balance between decision making and luck-the progression mechanics are well-mounted-good quality music, albeit repetitive one likes less:-controls with the joystick are disgusting-repetitive music-very increased difficulty FINAL SCORE: 8 full review: http://www.lantredugeek.com/critique-our-darker-purpose-ou-binding-of-isaac-rencontre-tim-burton/
