[out] is a Twine that follows an unnamed protagonist in a narrative written to evoke the process and turmoil of "coming out" and the horrible damage that keeping secrets about yourself and your experiences can cause. The surreal narrative takes players through a variety of strange and sometimes horrific locations and situations as they seek to answer a question that is posed at the outset of the game:
