Out There Chronicles - Ep. 1
About
Out There Chronicles is an interactive graphic novel based on the science fiction universe of Out There, the acclaimed, multi-award-winning space exploration game.
After a slumber of a million years, you wake up on America, a planet colonized by humans who fled planet Earth. In your quest to find your people, you’ll set off on a galactic adventure where you’ll meet a host of colorful characters and visit unimaginable locations.
Out There Chronicles is a unique adventure set several million years before Out There. Where do the Arks come from? What are the Cubes? Fans of the original game will find answers to some questions, but others will remain a mystery.
You’ll also meet various alien races and get the opportunity to learn more about their people… If you can master their language, of course.
In this universe that is so far from your own in distance and in time, a sharp mind and an instinct for survival are your only weapons. Friendships can be forged and ancient rivalries re-emerge through your encounters with almost-human and less-human races. Will you be able to distinguish friend from foe?
As in the original game, a single human is unable to face the forces of the universe alone. Achieve your goals by exercising diplomacy when needed, and seizing opportunities when they present themselves.
Written by FibreTigre, author of the original game, Out There Chronicles offers an epic story that will delight science fiction fans in search of new experiences.
Brilliantly illustrated by top French SF artist, Benjamin Carré, and equipped with a simple interface, Out There Chronicles will take you on a journey of adventure, even if you’ve never played a video game before.

Highly recommended, although more of a literary experience than a game as there are not really any gaming moments (eg skill based or RPG elements). The game however tells a great story and does it in a very effective way. If you have any interest in the SF genre at all you will enjoy this one!
Two thumbs up, way up!

Taking over the universe of out there, this game takes back the principle of the book of which you are the hero, offering you several choices that will influence your adventure. In fact, there is little real choice in this episode (unlike the following), but the story and the world are excellent. To be discovered absolutely.

Wow, what a Game, or Book, or Comic! Or all three at a time?
In any Case absolutely indescribable-could only put it away for a short time with the Application of my Entire Will:-)
I like how our Hero can develop in history. Too bad there is not the Possibility to jump back to the different Checkpoints at the End of the game To see what would have happened had one decided otherwise.
Recommendation!

I loved it out there and it's to play it again (although I often die but it's irrelevant because the game is good) that I don't do the update of my iPhone. So I was conquered in advance. The very different concept of this game pleases me very much. Damn, scary. But I come too fast, far too fast, to do and redo the same things. I have to take NOTES on the replicas I choose to try to escape the logical loops where I find myself. Suddenly after a good week and a half I stopped playing. Pity.

This is really a great game,
Charismatic characters, nice story, interactions, and credible environment and interactions.
An original story and universe ( from "Out There")
The graphics of the characters and environments are amazing.
This app would deserve a full 5 stars, if only the adventure did not cut after a few hours, displaying the fatal "end of episode one" ...
It would have been nice to know, before starting. Instead, you leave this great episode, with a really bad taste in mouth, the feeling that you got sc****d.
The work deserves the price anyway, a game to play, but be aware that you will have to buy more, and that there is no info yet about the release of episode 2.
