Overture reviews

Little rogue like that makes 20 MB. With challenging gameplay or you die easily. With a twenty-one personal to unlock. Each character has 2 attacks. 1 normal attack and 1 Special attack. The game sessions can be very short. A perfect little game if you do not know what to do or want to occupy you 10 minutes.

After a few hours of play, to try all the characters, to take some to others, to try to go as far as possible, the verdict falls: I do not recommend Overture. A problem far too badly dosed for a loot of equipment too random. More frustration than pleasures, the game does not reward in any way the perséverance. Go your way.

Well it could be a funny game, but it is a bit too crappy of RNG. The bosses after each floor are just walking on you and there is no room to escape. If you did not get a super strong weapon in the previous floor, you are just dead. Too much of RNG, no tactics involved, total chaos on screen (can be fun though, if you are searching for some gaming experience which is not really challenging for your mind). I would only get this game when it is reduced by 99%. I got this from a Bundle, but i would not recomment buying it.

I had already played realm of the mad God on Kongregate, I had spent hours and hours... Overture is totally in this vein there, the less multiplayer (damage). It's a mini-RPG without all the blabla that one has to bang with the NPCs. The only thing to do in this game is to type mobs, pick up items, farm golds, take XP, die and... upgrade your hero to start over! I will not go so far as to say that this is an exceptional game, but it remains nice if you have a little time to kill. :)

Overture: monsters and treasures when you start Overture, you have the choice between 4 different characters (Warrior, thief, magician and shaman). In each character family, you have several classes available. Obviously, in the beginning, just one class is accessible, the others will have to unlock them afterwards. Each character class has its own skills and powers. In the first level, you have E-NOR-ME-MENT of monsters to kill and just as many treasures to recover. You also have hostages to save and as they are very grateful, they will fight with you until death. At the end of the level, it is advisable to attack the "boss" (I advise you not to put it until you have cleaned the rest of the level, you are not strong enough) that hangs in a corner of the level and hides the access to the next level. A detail that proves to be very practical for the second level... If you shoot at the same time as you move, you are slow... It is better to run, stop, walk and shoot and then run again to avoid the "boss". http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=599108181 to read all my impressions on Overture. [www.graal.fr]
