Initially it started as a game pitch produced for the theme lootboxes, becoming an idea the team found interesting to develop.
Consequently we created Pain to Win, a 2D rogue-like metroidvania, where the player is stimulated to climb his way through the city skyscrapers in order to uncover the truth behind a dystopian city. The journey will oblige risk taking, making the purchase of loot boxes with health points a necessity.
