PERPLEX

PERPLEX is a classic, arcade-style shooter with a twist... A dimensional twist.

The arena is divided into four quadrants. Anything that attempts to cross these quadrants will be teleported to another location.

Take flight across the dimensions
Power up your ship
Blast enemies to pieces
Build up your bounty

Will you be able to survive in this twisted galaxy, or will you be left PERPLEX'd?

How To Play

WASD Move Mouse Aim Left Click Fire Enter Pause

Cross the lines that separate the quadrants to teleport to another position.
Crossing the vertical line shifts your position up/down.
Crossing the horizontal line shifts your position left/right.

Objects that cross these lines are powered up; bullets become more damaging and powerups become more effective. Make use of this to survive for longer and earn more points.

Enemies

Asteroid

Weak and slow-moving, asteroids are easily dispatched, but can be trouble in large numbers.


Big Asteroid

Extremely tough, big asteroids can take a lot of damage. Great for building up your score.


Spinner

Fast-moving, erratic and dealing moderate damage, Spinners are a dangerous enemy.


Duplicator

Best taken out quickly, Duplicators release mini-duplicators as they fly across the arena.


Flying Saucer

Frail, but dealing heavy damage, Flying Saucers are a classic example of a glass cannon.

Pickups

Weapon

Increases your firepower.


Health

Restores your health meter.


Score

Adds a bonus to your score.
