Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds is a 2D beat 'em up from Mages/5pb, the makers of Steins;Gate, Bullet Soul, and other great games. Choose a fighter and battle against the bizarre minions of the evil wizard Phantom. Enjoy classic beat 'em up gameplay with a fighting game twist. Dash through colorful Tokyo locales, strengthen your characters, team up with your friends, fight dragons and killer robots!
Story Mode - Enjoy a lighthearted story as you battle Phantom's minions across 8 stages inspired by famous Tokyo districts.
Arcade Mode - Challenge yourself to get the biggest combo, the highest score, or the fastest completion time.
Multiplayer - Easy to learn mechanics make playing with your friends a snap. Team up with your friends for the local co-op or online campaign, or go to the battlegrounds arena and fight a pitched PVP battle! Up to 4 players supported.
Customizable, Persistent Characters - 4 starting characters and 6 unlockable ones. Each character has a fully customizable stat and skill tree, and levels persist between all modes. Choose a favorite character and build them how you like! Every character has unique special attacks.
Retro Charm - Vibrant sprite graphics and a catchy chiptune-inspired soundtrack for the discerning retro gamer!

After a few Hours of Play still great! I usually haven't been able To win a lot of beat ' em up, but with this Title you can really have some Hours of Fun. Pros:-Variety of playable Characters-Motivating level system-Multi-Player (online + local)-Schickes level design negative:-After a few Hours already done all The stages (but doesn't hurt too much, as you can level the Characters and many Difficulty levels can be achieved)

A really fun Beat ' em up. I was pleasantly surprised that you could choose different Languages here. German is also there. The Gameplay is fast, simple and beautiful. Eight different Characters who play completely differently. The Bonus DLC Charackter "Kurisu Makise," due to be released soon, is from the Anime "Steins; Gate. "" Info about Steins; Gate: http://de.anisearch.com/anime/6332,steins-gate Personally, there are too few Game Modes. And with the existing Game Modes, you can't set Combat Options either. Example: When Fighting Against Each other, there are no Bots to set, Items, Handicaps ect. The Story isn't very demanding, either. That's What the Gamplay and Graphics are right for. There is hardly a Game that gets the mix of 2D and 3D Graphics As good as here. The Multiplayer Mode can only be done Local, because there were still too many Problems online. But that is supposed to come back to that. The Game I can recommend to any Beat 'em up, Retro and Anime Fan. Hasn't had so much Fun with nem Beat 'em up for a long Time.

Phantom Breaker is a Beat ' em up In a cute Anime Style. The Story is quite simple. An evil Guy called Phantom wants to destroy the World and four Characters, our Protagonists, want to stop him. While it Doesn't sound so great, it's already better than it sounds. The special thing about the Game is the Characters, as each has a completely customizable Status and skill tree. When You Finish the Story, you also unlock new Characters, in case of all the Difficulties. In addition to the Story, there are other Modis such as Arcade Mode and local Multiplayer. In Arcade Mode, you can compete with other Players: Either by the biggest Combo, the highest Score or the fastest Play through. In local Multiplayer, you can play the Story with your Friends or defeat it in the Battle arena in PVP battles. Pro-Good Control (However, Only With Gamepad)-Good Music-Retro Feeling-Cool Combos and Skills-Unlockable Characters-Enemies Close Until No Longer Contra-Relatively monotonous-Only with Gamepad possible to play Without Any problems conclusion: This Game really makes Fun and I recommend it to anyone who likes to break Opponents:D Points-Story 4.7/10-Characters 6.6/10-Graphics 7.2/10-Gameplay 8.2/10-Music 8.0/10 Score: 6.94/10
