"Arachnophobia, ophidiophobia, fear of heights, a fear of germs... all very common fears, right?"

[NAME] is a normal art student at a summer art program and doing their best to muddle through classes, schoolwork, and friends. Their day-to-day schedule is pretty boring-- wake up, try not to wake up everyone in the dorm, clean up, do some work, go eat breakfast, go to class, get back home, do more homework, and go back to sleep.

However, they... do have a tiny bit of a problem. They've got a LOT of phobias. And I do mean a lot.

Follow a nameable protagonist as they get used to their life at summer art school, deal with their phobias (and problems), and basically bore the heck out of you.

PHOBIAS is a short visual novel that follows a nameable protagonist through a [really f*cking boring] view of their day-to-day life as they cope with their fears.  Make choices (that are ultimately meaningless), play a short minigame or two (they're not even fun you motherf*cker), and... be aware that there's something wrong.

CONTENT WARNING: This game is rated 13+ due to swearing and sensitive topics, including mental illness symptoms that are very common. This game deals with emotions the creator often feels, occasionally in the levels as displayed in the game. If you are uncomfortable with the discussion of mental illnesses, disorders, or symptoms, please exercise caution while playing the game. There are also flashing lights, colors, and text. Please exercise caution if you have epilepsy.

THE DEMO LACKS MANY FEATURES THAT THE FINAL GAME WILL HAVE. The (incredibly short) has:

• A nameable protagonist.
• The first 'day' of gameplay.
• Sprites.
• A good amount of flashing text.
• A shocking lack of backgrounds.
• A shocking lack of original GUI.
• Enough of the content warning to be wary.
• Some choices.

THE FINAL VERSION WILL HAVE:

• (POSSIBLY) Live2D Sprites.
• Five days of gameplay.
• Hand-painted backgrounds.
• Original GUI.
• EVERYTHING CONTAINED IN THE CONTENT WARNING.
• One 'minigame'.
• Choices!

Please bear with this appalling lack of things in the demo; I promise the final version will be much better.
