Pingus Around the World

Pingus is a game made for the "GameOff2021" game jam.
Made around 10 days it features 3 levels, powerups, and fun but challenging gameplay. Hope you enjoy!

STORY

Once a successful game named "Pingus" where you play as a cute penguin named Pingus, was hacked by an evil cockroach with mysterious powers. The evil cockroach trolled the players with BUGS and nobody could beat it because of him. Why is he doing that? well nobody knows, perhaps the arcade place was once his home and he is now looking for vengeance... Will you be able to beat the game? let's see

CONTROLS

A & D or Left & Right Arrows - Movement
Space or Up Arrow - Jump (Hold to jump higher)
1 & 2 - Powerups (Fish = double jump, Popsicle = Shield)

*Game-Breaking Bug Fix*

On level 2 "Desert Land" there was a bug that prevented players from finishing the level. When the players got to the sliding section, if the bug (the enemy of the game) decided to destroy a floor then he would destroy the whole invisible floor that the players are sliding on, causing the players to fall to their death unable to win the game.
