Pirate Tactix

Pirate Tactix is a turn-based tactics game with a focus on ship-to-ship combat.

• Engage in tactical combat, using cannonballs, chain shots, and mines
• Loot treasure chests and shipwrecks
• Manage resources like wood, cannon balls, mines, and rum
• Defend and capture forts
• Build and upgrade ships at your forts

Controls

The controls are listed in the README that is included with the game.

Development

This is a very early prototype. Its purpose is to test ideas and mechanics, and balance the gameplay. It currently has no win conditions or player AI. All images are placeholder images.

You can edit and create your own maps with the Tiled map editor. Check the README on how to load custom maps.

The archive comes bundled with a Java 11 Runtime Environment.
