A Game that is different than expected and can captivate for a long time Despite a simple Game Mechanic. The Interplay of Music, Colour and Form seems almost a bit mesmerizing.

Game is the Hammer!! Was or is worth his Money:D So does the Soundtrack ... Once you get behind the Game Principle, there is easy Addictive Potential ... Dust Up and just give it a go ...

Back in 2008, PixelJunk Eden was released as the third Title in the popular PS3 exclusive Series of small, ornate 2D games. Almost 4 Years and 4 Games later, Eden is the first PixelJunk Title to be available for PC. Beautiful, simple design, good, unobtrusive electric soundtrack (which can also be purchased separately as 320 kbits mp3), solid "Slightly physics based" Platformer. More PixelJunk Titles are to follow Eden on Steam, I'm already looking forward to It. Special Recommendation in advance (or for PS3 owners): PixelJunk Shooter

If a Game shows me again how much Art can be put into Video Games, it's PixelJunk™ Eden. No Screenshot or trailer can describe the Feeling with which you move through the different Worlds or Gardens. As if in a Kind of Trance, Music and the Game blur into each other. The minimalist Style fits on the Eye like the Fist. While we can move around the first Gardens without any Problems and great Thought, it becomes pleasantly challenging over time. Some Places were really tricky, but when you re-entered after completing another World, the Problem from before never seemed to Me to have been present. The Aim is to grow the Plants of the World of Eden by collecting Spores by Defeating Opponents and ultimately collecting 5 Spectra per Garden. The 15 Gardens not only differ in style from each other, but also all play differently. In one World we have Teleporters, in the other huge Plants and in an even twisted Gravity. PixelJunk™ Eden showcases many creative Ideas that have been implemented in great hands. It also includes the Encore DLC. The Control is usually quite good with the Mouse, but sometimes a bit spongy. Overall, PixelJunk™ Eden is once Again proof to me how much Love there is in some Indie-games and I can recommend the Game to anyone who doesn't shy away from games with big Worlds and also likes to visit an Area five times to find it all. But it's worth it, because with each new Visit, new Sections can be found. Just for the Soundtrack and Style a big Praise!
