Planetary Revolution
About
This game was made in a week for Godot Wild Jam #22 by a team of two using Godot 3.2.1.
The theme is Revolution with the wildcards "Make It Up!" and "Another's Shoes".
Revolution because we (and other astronomical objects in the game) turn around in orbit.
Make It Up! because the galaxy is procedurally generated at each game's start.
Another's Shoes because you can play as different kind of astronomical body with varying appearances.
The main goal here was to test the art style so let us know what you think of it (what could be improved, what's interesting, etc.).
As for the end game, it is not as developed as we wished it due to overestimating how much we could do in the time period.
Disclaimer: physics laws may have been modified a little bit for the purpose of this game.
How to play
You can orbit further or closer with keys WS or Up/Down.
Go over bodies smaller than you to absorb them and grow.
Once you've grown enough, you'll orbit around a bigger body.
Don't hesitate to replay multiple times to discover all the different visuals!
