Platformer Prototype (ASGrincewicz)

Metroid-style Platformer

This is a prototype version of a Metroid-style platformer.

It's fairly simple and really just practice for me to implement game mechanics from my favorite series.

There's currently no sound.

There's also a bug with switching to missiles, preventing the final goal from being reached. This will be fixed soon, but you're welcome to try out everything else and let me know what you think.

Keyboard Controls:

• WSAD -movement/aiming
• R- diagonal aim down
• T- diagonal aim up
• Control - shoot weapon
• Spacebar- Jump, again to double jump
• Shift- ball mode
• Up arrow - toggle secondary fire (currently not working)
• Tab- Pause menu

Goal:

• Collect all 7 collectibles
• Collect all 3 upgrades
• Destroy both enemies
• Reach the goal object.
