Please Get Away From Me

Our Submission for Tas Jam at Home 2020 and is based around the theme of "Distance" or in this case trying to keep your distance!

Please Get Away From Me is a competitive tag platformer where the infected player must infect the other player before time runs out. If the infected player manages to successfully infect the other player they win the round, but if the other player manages to survive the timer they win.

It's a game of reading opponents, guessing their next move and being the fastest.

This idea stemmed from an article I read about how people are getting in to trouble by chasing people pretending they are sick and the others would attempt to run away to keep their DISTANCE (see what we did there), I thought I could turn this weird thing people are doing into a simple game people can play together.

Quick controls:

Infected Player Controls - A/D to move left/right and W to jump

Normal Player Controls - numpad [4]/[6] to move left/right and [8] to jump
