PONCHO reviews

The Adventure of the little Robot Gameplay In PONCHO WE move the little robot around the World and can switch between 3 Levels, which requires a lot Of Jumping and Skill. Even if the Game Mechanics change the Dimensions differently, the Game is quite reminiscent of the famous Indie title "FEZ." In addition, one often has to consider how to reach a certain Point in the first place. Since the Game is generally very short, a few Collectibles have been added. So you can buy keys for the red Stones that lie around everywhere in order to advance further into a Level. And what exactly it brings to collect these Robots: I have no Idea. Very nice is occasionally designed the Environment, you realize that you are moving in a certain Direction. (Considered On The Game) The Goal is to find the Platform to finish the Level. I loved the fact that despite its 2Ds, the Game allows an open Game world within a Level and the World is virtually round. So you can pick your Direction that you want to run in. On The other hand, jumping wrong or not catching the Dimension-shifting Platforms can sometimes be frustrating. But at least you don't have to restart the Level awkwardly, but just end up in the last fixed Position. So there's not a lot of Pressure from the Side and you can experiment a little bit. Story We play PONCHO, a little Robot that wants to discover the World and is called to itself by a certain Person. A bit of a shame I found that there is only a proper Narrative at the Beginning and at the End. In Between, we only learn what happened from the Robots running around, what happened. It seems that all human Beings are extinct and the Machines suffer from decaying and having nothing to do. I can still say that there are two Ends and both are portrayed very beautifully and can be quite emotional. Graphic/Sound Also the Graphics remind me personally of FEZ, which I honestly find not bad. The Graphics are very pixelated, but still very lovingly designed. A strong Plus is the Music, which in turn is reminiscent of FEZ. The Music hits the right Note, as there are half-fast Beats, but also quiet melodic electronic Music. Verdict PONCHO offers good Music, a not yet as uplained Gameplay (it's not quite as unique as it's touted) and wows, ne Crowd to Collect. In General, I find PONCHO very beautiful and lovingly designed. However, it can sometimes be frustrating if you continue to jump on or you want to go up and fail again and again in the same Place. A very big Minus point is also the very short Game time, I finished the game and didn't even have all the Collectible Cards. I can generally recommend PONCHO, but at a reasonable Price. Therefore, if You prefer to wait for an Offer of less than €5, then the Game is worth it. Did the Review help you? Then follow me in my Steam Group, where I write my Reviews as a Curator.
