Ponger (tomputergames)

Ponger (or Fireball Pong) is just like normal pong.

Except you can die.

Try and get the highest score without getting burned. The trouble is, the further you pull ahead, the more fireballs appear on the board! 

(This game was made in a couple of hours, you're going to have to work with me on this one...)

• You are playing the green paddle on the left
• [Up]/[Down] - Move your paddle
• [X]/[Z] - Start the game, or restart after gameover
• Bounce back the fireballs by blocking them from your side
• Every time you bounce a fireball it gets hotter and faster (from cold blue to yellow-hot!)
• Score by getting a fireball pass the other paddle (your score is in green, the computer's score is in white)
• The more ahead your score, the more fireballs will be in play (see: red balls counter)
• Every time you let a fireball in, you lose a life (see: pink hearts counter)
• The game is over when you've lost all your lives
• Choose between playing with the computer to keep the scores close and slowly increasing, or take a risk and pull ahead for the chance of scoring with multiple balls at a time!
