My entry for the RNDGAME Jam 2020 by Tom Hall

You always wanted to own a cozy home but you only have 1000 coins to your name.

So you decide to invest everything into the local turnip lemon markets. Soon you find out, that the lemon price changes in strange patterns but you learn to use that to your advantage.

As you trade every week and time flies by, you even find a way to increase your trading power level!

Will the dream of your own house come true?

The game saves your progress automatically.

Sunday:

• Left/Right: Switch option/item/page in review
• Up/Down: Switch between options and shop items
• X/V/M: Buy/Select

During week:

• X/V/M: Sell lemons
• Z/C/N: Hold down to accelerate week

Misc:

• Enter: Show menu
  • Restart game from scratch (deletes your save)
  • Disable help
  • Toggle music
  • Reset cart

• There are four types of price development patterns
  • Fluctuating, Small Spike, Large Spike and Decreasing
  • A pattern influences the probability of the pattern for the next week
  • Large Spike and Decreasing look the same in the beginning
• Always buy your lemons before anything else
  • You need lemons to make money to buy lemons to make money!
• Don't buy too many lemons
  • It can get hard to sell them all when your power level is not high enough
  • Lemons you didn't sell in time are rotten and lost
