Predicate Demo
About
Predicate is a challenging and unique bullet-hell with colour and simple design being a major focus. The player has the choice of playing through in their own style:
- Wrapping enemies in their tail, leaving more room to focus on dodging.
- Attacking enemies by shooting to quickly clear stages.
An upgrade tree provides ways for the player to adapt to their own preferred play style.
Several colour palettes are available as well as the ability to make your own!

This demo showcases the first two bosses and basic game-mode of the in development game Predicate. The major purpose of this demo is to receive feedback and improve aspects of the game for the final release later this year.
The full version of the game will feature many more stages and boss fights, the full upgrade tree, achievements and unlocks as well as a second "character" to play through as with their own upgrade paths.
Installation:Download and run PredicateSetup.msi to install the game on your computer. Windows only unfortunately.
After installing, go to the installation folder (defaults to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Predicate Dev\Predicate") and run predicate.exe to play the game!
If you get errors on boot (like "d3dx9_42.dll missing") then you'll probably need to install:
- Directx 9.0c End-User Runtime: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=34429
- Visual C++ Redistributable: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=48145
If you still get errors after installing those then please leave a comment in the section below, this is my first time publishing a game so I need a little help.
