Project Movement

Project Movement is a 2D platformer focused on navigating through challenging levels as fast as possible. Inspired by Source movement game modes focusing on skillful movement to complete maps in the shortest time possible.

The game is currently in development as a part of CSE 481 D: Games Capstone at UW. Check out our website at https://jgao222.github.io/project-movement/ for more information and our devlogs.

Designed for mouse and keyboard.

Features:

• Inertial movement - keep your speed as long as you don't crash into anything
• 2 tutorial levels + 3 regular levels of varying degrees of challenge
• Stopwatch to record your time

Controls

• A and S for horizontal movement
• SPACE to jump, SPACE again to double jump
• W to super jump
• LEFT CLICK to dash towards your mouse cursor
• SPACE while on a wall to walljump
• Time your SPACE presses to bounce off of the ground and the walls, keeping your speed
