PSYkid

Psykid is a Metroidvania game, built in GB Studio 3.0. It is based onHarold: Paranormal Instigator by NotJam.

Aside from the updated release of Joyride!, I've been on a pretty long break from GB Studio, and wanted to dive into a project to test all the updates and new plugins that have come out with 3.0. I saw this excellent asset pack from NotJam, and had to make something with it. Their game to demonstrate the assets is a lot of fun, and uses a gameboy aesthetic...so I figured why not try and put this on an actual GameBoy?

This game was built in a week.

This should run on GameBoy and GameBoy Pocket, but will run better on a Gameboy Color.
