PulseCharge reviews

Product received for free a rather difficult platform game (for my part ahah). I do not find the graphics very beautiful, the music is repetitive but not annoying. This is an original game, for those who have patience, it can be interesting.

As is said in several other positive reviews, it is not especially a good game, but it is not bad for that. It is a small platform game with an original concept: we absorb the fireballs of enemies in order to use them to kill them, to move in places inaccessible otherwise, in short to finish the level. For this you must also unlock the skills (double jump, amplified projection, and finally remove the wall that blocks the output of the level), skills that will have to be reobtained in each level. We also confront bosses with the same principle of absorption. The graphics are not particularly beautiful but do not sting the eyes either, the music is soft and integrates well with the atmosphere of the game, the sounds do not take the head. Bought 30 or 20 cents on sale, this is not a bad acquisition.

"PulseCharge" is a 2D platformer with its own Aesthetics and Its own Mechanics. There is no real Story. We spawn and we can usually hop, jump and jump. Especially though: In many Places red Globules drip around, which can damage us, unless we morph into a Heart shape. Then they act as a unique Booster that carries us deeper or horizontally wide. There are also permanent Improvements, such as a double jump. However, these have to be recovered in each Level, which is a pity, because the Feeling of a real Progression of the Character in the Course of the Game does not arise. Aesthetically, the Game is peculiar. Klodly blocky and idiosyncratically shrid-colored. As you know, there is no question Of arguing about Taste. To my Liking, it's undeniably one thing: Pretty ugly. Sounds and Music are also more of the annoying Variety. The control, the most important thing in this Genre, is responsive, but the Movements seem strangely connoital and tough. Also, the Game world seems to possess an astonishingly high Gravity, because the Drop Speed is high. What is positive is that you can rebind all keys. The Level Design is also not sparkling, you could call it unparticularly, if there were this Word. Nice that the Game tries its own Style and a special Game Mechanic, it's just a pity that it is likely to appeal only to a very limited Group. Rating: 5/10 Atmosphere-/10 Story 4/10 Graphic 4/10 Sound 4/10 Game Mechanics 5/10 Balancing 4/10 Game Pass Conclusion: Osten. Very own. A little too own. 4/10 Overall Rating
