Punchy Jam Plant

A jammin' jam game  written for a game jam. In this rhythm game, you work in a factory. Watch the plate as it zooms down the conveyor belt. Then, activate your claw machines in time with the music, to build and serve jars of jam... and other stuff.

IMPORTANT:  Take the time to calibrate

When properly calibrated, your actions should feel "tight" and not a sloppy mess.

• Audio latency will depend on your system - and even vary across plays for the same system - so there's no single "right answer". You'll probably land on a value between 40msec and 200msec.

• Avoid using wireless speakers or headsets when playing, such as Bluetooth; they add latency.

Controls

This game requires a keyboard. Some  screens and levels will happen to work with other inputs, but others will not.

Personally I like the J key.

Starting in Level 6: If the claw is holding a letter block, the block becomes the letter you typed.   If you type an impossible letter, or a non-letter, then you will serve the plate instead of dropping a letter.Punch plateDELETE or
