Pythagoria reviews

Pythagoria, in Reference to the Greek Mathematician Pythagoras, is a promising Title. The Result is a stintonic Educational Game in which one has to calculate the Page rines Rectangle or the Surface of a Legal Esk. Already at the first Task, you get to deal with broken Numbers, although the Player has to give natural Numbers as a Solution. Probably the Principle of missing all rectangles of integer sides would have been too simple.

Pythagoria is a mathematical Puzzle game with Elements from Geometry. Simple and sometimes tricky Tasks are set (i.e. a total of 60 Puzzles). Personally, I find this Game idea very appealing. For the most part, the technical Implementation has also been successful. The visual Representation I found pleasant and the Music not annoying. The biggest Criticism is clearly the lack Of Scaling in the Figures, although the right Solutions can be calculated. The Price Performance Ratio is fine as it took me just under 4 Hours to play. For those who are interested, there are Collectible cards. Overall, I can recommend Pythagoria. + Game Idea (+ Collectible cards)-Missing Scale Fidelity

Why no Recommendation? Quite simply: The Representations are usually not true to scale. That starts in the Tutorial. A 5cm ² Rectangle is depicted here, including a rectangle half the size of The Rectangle, which is 3cm ² in size. One could consider the missing Scale to be an extra difficulty, so that the "Pupil" does not simply measure the Information with the Ruler (although you can also simply click on all the answer options until you have found the right One). However, this makes the Tasks unnecessarily confused in my Opinion, especially since some Tasks require the fact that one sets an area of length in Relation To others. For example, there is a Triangle where you only know that the cropped Tip is 1cm ² in size. What is in Demand is The Size of the rest of the lower Part. If the Size ratio shown This time, the lower Part would have to be 3 x as large ... He is, too.
