Q*Bert: Rebooted
About
One of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful arcade games of the 1980s is back in its Classic pixel perfect 2D form, and a re-imagined Reboot version with state of the art 3D game-play and graphics that remain faithful to the original concept. Both versions are exciting twitch games requiring keen puzzle solving skills and logic.
First introduced in 1982 by Gottlieb, Qbert was critically-acclaimed and went on to become the third most successful arcade game of all time (behind Pac-Man and Donkey Kong). It inspired home versions, a variety of Qbert merchandise, numerous copycat games and even an animated TV series.
Qbert Classic stays true to the original in all its jagged 2D pixel art glory, now optimized for the modern PC with mouse and Steam gamepad controls. As the title character, players jump around an isometric cube pyramid and convert each block’s color while avoiding familiar adversaries Coily, Ugg, Slick, Sam, Wrong Way and Red Ball. Levels become progressively harder with more enemies blocking your path and the tiles requiring multiple jumps to change to the required color.
Qbert Rebooted takes the arcade classic and catapults it into the 21st century 3D game play that takes full advantage of today’s technologies yet remains faithful to the original Qbert. Featuring hexagonal blocks instead of squares, Qbert Rebooted introduces new enemies, playable characters, power-ups, traps, gem collecting and characters, and new ways to play.
Qbert Rebooted highlights:
Level Select – replay all previously unlocked levels and track progress against friends.
7 New Playable Characters – introducing Qzard, Qbertha, Qbot, Qzilla, Qtee, Qknight and Qnicorn, all based on the original Q*bert form.
3 New Enemies – the classic cast of adversaries are joined by new enemies Homer, Uppercut and Treasure Chest
9 Achievements – these include Classic Master, Newbert, Qbertorama, Snake Surprise, Green Machine, Ugg!, Down for the Count, Disc Rider and Coin-Op Collector.

Super reboot But with Controller it is hard to hit the right fields because it almost never goes where I want

I played the Game when I was young on the old C64 of Commodore, it's a Must for PC Players of my Generation and I'm very happy that I was able to buy it here at Steam.

THIS HERE BEZIE YOU OUT LOVE ON THIS PC PORT!
Totally useless, who thought WASD was a good Control in an isometric Motion?! You can use the Mouse as a Touchscreen, but that doesn't really bring it either. And no, you can't configure the Controls, because this is just a direct mobile port, without any Thought about the fact that you want to play it on Pc. So If you want to play it (like me then), it's best to grab your Phone or Tablet and save yourself this ... Experience.

A really successful, entertaining implementation Of a Classic!
At that time I liked to play the Original very much and a lot and therefore had to buy this Game out of Nostalgia. Of course, I was very skeptical that it can withstand the (transfigured) memories of the Original, but it's doing pretty well.
The classic version shows the old "Charm" of the Original (:-D) and the hapushed, newer version plays similarly entertaining.
In Short: For a few Euros, this is a nice little Game for In Between-if the Mind needs some Relaxation just the Right thing. ;-)

The Classic par excellence. Clear Buy recommendation:-)
With this Game, 2 versions are purchased the old Pixelige And the new rebooted.
And both run at win7 64 bit optimally I think times on win 8 as well but can't test it (Win 8 more denier:-)
Go to the Game: After the start you have the choice of resolution and which Buttons you want to use (highly recommend to look at it the first time and change if necessary) Once that's done, the game starts and you have the choice eg. The classic and the rebooted version.
The Classic Version is something for old Hands like me who know the Frustration of the Gameboy game. But everyone Should at least up Lvl 5 Games to get all the erasions.
The new Version is a bit more extensive you can buy various qberts ingame with the crystals you collect which are not overpriced:-)
Furthermore, each Lvl has its own erciour to unlock. Duration of the Game and Number Of Points. Bonus levels are also available where you can then collect Said Crystals.
My Opinion for 5 euros definitely worth its money and you can also wait for discounts if you don't know it.
Definitely a MUST HAVE GAME.
