Avoid obstacles and collect the pages to unlock actual pages from an actual book you can actually read. Jump over things. Jump on things. Jump on your buddy. Jump on your buddy while your buddy is also jumping. Just don't jump in pits or on birds or on those good lads who're just having a snooze and shouldn't be woken.

Press H if you get stuck.
If you get really stuck, go to Read or Title to get a new level.

(If you just want to unlock everything, you can enable Library Mode by pressing Shift+Alt+NumpadPlus, then NumpadPlus again. Don't worry. I get it. Sometimes you just want to read a book.)
