Historia / Story

Ramiro se encuentra con su amigo Ramón el Faraón en su viejo palacio de Abu Cimbrel (provincia de Badajoz) poniéndose finos a Tokajis. Ramón se acuerda del viejo misterio del Papiro de la pirámide de Ejemplo (dios de las demostraciones al que todo el mundo invoca cuando exclama "¡por ejemplo!"), que fue roto en cuatro partes por Akenatón el Mamón y escondido en cuatro cámaras mortuorias.

El papiro se dice que fue escrito por el propio Atón, el dios del sol, y que esconde uno de sus mayores secretos. Con la borrachera, a Ramiro le parece una genial idea ponerse a reunir el papiro, ya que, conociendo los secretos del propio dios del Sol podría controlar los rayos del astro y crearse una especie de "noche portátil" alrededor suya para convertirse así en el vampiro más temible del Condado (provincia de Badajoz).

Ni corto ni perezoso, Ramiro se pone en marcha.

Reúne los 4 trozos del papiro y entrégaselos a Ramón. Para ello, busca monedas y entrégalos en el altar para cambiarlos por objetos que podrás entregar a los diversos personajes que encuentres por el viejo palacio de Abu Cimbrel. Cuidado con el Ojo, que si te ve, te quita la vida.

Ramiro is spending some time with his dearest friend, Ramón the Pharaoh, in the ancient palace of Abu Cimbrel (province of Badajoz), drinking their asses off. Ramon tells him about the old mystery of a papyrus hidden in the Pyramid of Example (who was the god of demonstrations, invoked by anybody who exclaims "for example!") which was broken in four pieces and hiden in four mortuary chambers. The papyrus is said to have been written by Aton himself, who was the Sun God, and is known for containing one of his dearest secrets. Drunk as he was, Ramiro thinks it's a great idea to gather the pieces of the papyrus because, by knowing Aton's dearest secrets, he could very well control the Sun and create a "portable night" of sorts around him to become the most fearsome vampire in the County (province of Badajoz). Without losing a minute, Ramiro sets off to the Pyramid.

Collect the 4 pieces of papyrus and give them to Ramon. To do this, look for coins and give them to the altar to exchange them for items that you can give to the various characters you find in Abu Cimbrel's old palace. Watch out for the Eye, if it sees you, it will take your life.

Instrucciones de caraga / Loading instructions

ZX Spectrum:

En modelos de 48K, escribe LOAD”” y pulsa ENTER y Play en el casette. En modelos de 128K, pulsa ENTER. 

Type LOAD “” then press ENTER. In 128K press ENTER.

Amstrad CPC:

Pulsa las teclas Control y Enter simultaneamente y Play en el cassete, o bien teclea RUN””, pulsa Return y después Play. En disco, busca el archivo con CAT y cárgalo, que tú sabes.

In Amstrad, press CTRL+ENTER simultaneously, then press PLAY, or type RUN», then RETURN, then PLAY. For the DSK version, just look for the executable using CAT, we are sure you know the drill.
