Ratatoskr

Ratatoskr is a platforming game that my team and I worked on for our University Game Development module.

The game's theme and aesthetic are based on Norse mythology and this is present throughout.

We wanted to create a game that recreated the flow and momentum that squirrels display.

In Ratatoskr, you play as a squirrel, chased by the ghost wolf Fenrir, as you make your way to the top of the great tree Yggdrasil to deliver an important message...

I and my team worked really hard on this project but had a lot of problems along the way. Unfortunately, Ratatoskr didn't end up being the game we wanted it and knew it could be.

Nevertheless, this project was an invaluable learning experience and I am proud of our work regardless.
