Red Crow Mysteries: Legion reviews

A hidden object game that looks more like a small clicker, because there is no OC scene with clutter. The objects are in the rooms visited. There's some sympathetic headache. The graphs are aging. The music is passable. The script doesn't fly very high. The French translation is correct, although it lacks words with the tasks, and some dialogues are not subtitled. Also, the hint button does not always help, because it does not indicate where to find x object to do x action. In short, unless you find it in a bundle, as it was my case, go your way. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=934185827

Thinking of dealing with a game with hidden object scenes, I was initially rather baffed by Red Crow mysteries: Legion. In fact it's quite original and once passed the grip, I liked it. We are closer to the dot & click than the HOG, we walk by picking, combining or using the objects alternating freely between the inventory and the list to search with the right-click. It's a bit disturbing at first but finally pretty well thought out. In the end we have a kind of point & click assisted very casual but original. EVAL positive for this mechanics off the beaten track, for everything else it is in the average of the HOG with a disappointing end in water pudding that prepares a possible sequel but leaves us really on our hunger.

This game is not a classic hidden object game. It does not rely on the usual codes and if it wanted to be original, it was not enough. The objects are scattered in the décor, no specific scenes to frame them. It could have made sense if it hadn't been rude. No need to read the "list", to the gauge, to the eye, to the instinct, you will identify in the second what you need to find and what is showing off with the environment. It's just obvious, you can't really say that they're "hidden" Finally! The semblance of scenario now: we prepare ourselves, to confront Legion, a demonic entity that feeds on the fears of men to make mankind collapse. The whole story is just a test, led by the ghosts of our mother and our grandfather who wanted to see if we had the shoulders. That is to say that we have superpowers that go beyond understanding, that we would be the chosen one, but at no time do we use it. Not! There, like that, we would rather Mac Gyver to the rigor, and again... The conclusion of the game is: "Bravo, you're ready. Now live your life until Legion comes after you. » Ah good... well, thank you. After which, the story of finishing me, I met several crashes of the game during the cutscenes. Not convinced...
