This is a GameBoy inspired RPG Adventure that can be played in your browser whether on a computer or mobile device!

The game is still undergoing development but this is an easy way to show the game to playtesters, please feel free to send me any feedback you have for the game.

The story:

You play as Red, a young adult who moved into a new home with their sister, the house was incredibly cheap, neither of you know why but the neighbours are sure you'll soon find out why. As soon as you move in you find yourself being warned to get weapons and equipment, your sister asks you to get some traps in case there are wild animals around, and your quest begins.

(Spoilers for further story plotpoints, please scroll down until you see "Mechanics" in bold if you do not want to be spoiled.)

As soon as you return from getting weapons you will find your sister has gone missing. The villagers do not want to have anything to do with you, nor help you, you are told this is beyond anything you can do and should simply leave the village forever.

You will uncover a conspiracy, a cult has been using that house as a staging area for their sacrifices, they sell the house cheap and kidnap whoever buys it. You will have to learn how to fight if you hope to save your sister from them before it is too late. Gather resources and money through fishing, farming and mining, build more powerful weapons and take on stronger foes until you finally decide to storm the cults hideout.

The cult are one sacrifice away from unleashing an unspeakable evil upon the world, this is now more than just saving your sister, you must fight to save every living thing on earth.

Mechanics:

The game is inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. The player can farm, fish and mine to gather resources, sell them for money or use them in combat/crafting. Combat shall be similar to the older Legend of Zelda games, with real time top down combat.
