Red Light Green Light (The Dopplegamer)

Developed by Team Yellow Light as a Senior CAPSTONE project at Ohio University, Red Light Green Light is an educational game, designed to be used in Psychological experiments.

The game is used to study Temporal Discounting, a psychological phenomena where, when presented with two options, a person will select the one with greater short term benefit, but lesser long term benefit.

In this game, you control a character playing Red Light Green Light. You have the option to either step, which is quick but covers a short distance, or a hop, which has a cool down delay, but covers a much greater distance.

There is a single player, and vs AI mode, as well as 2D and 3D graphic options.

Beyond the game itself, there is also an extensive trial editor, where you are able to control various parameters of a series of races, such as move speeds, game modes, and the number of races.
