Product received for free [REVIEW] Reset 1-1, die can solve your problems... In this game at least Read full review in Yume Magazine [revistayumecr.com] Reset 1-1 is a Plataformero title with retro airs and a good difficulty. I Love the games of this type actually and I admit that this has had me stuck a couple of hours in front of the PC trying to beat a few bosses that I appear on screen.
The playable proposal of Reset 1-1 is really simple and I liked the concept of the game as such, where some puzzles can only be solved if we let ourselves die. Jon is the name of the protagonist of the game and one of our "friends" will attack us thinking that we are an impostor or something similar, as there is a puzzle that only if we die we can achieve.
Reset 1-1 is not a title as memorable as others of its kind, the clearest examples Shovel Knight and Axiom Verge. However, it promises us great hours of fun and a story easy to understand with a very simple development: it is basically a world taken by demons and we must... Destroy them all! In reality everyone refers to EVERYONE, something I still do not discover in the game and I still try to understand.
I really like the gameplay so simple and easy to remember that it has. In particular I loved the role of rolling that presents the game as it will not only be useful in battle but consume stamina, but it is also funny to go rolling everywhere. We can Also choose certain attacks with our weapon and we will be able to use them in various situations.
Its graphic section is what I liked most although it may not surprise many. I Love the pixelated environments and this title presents me a proposal that I liked personally, even better the more we die the more retro the atmosphere becomes by losing color on the screens until having a gray environment completely.
The Music makes it quite honor to the Retro airs of the game and the soundtrack I find really varied. In fact many indie games do not have a wide soundtrack, but this title if he knew how to use the melodies of the game and knew how to adapt them to each of the environments where we are. The fights, the dark environments, the landscapes... Everything is really well decorated with music.
The game presents certain problems of performance when reaching the chekpoints as the frames fall a bit and certain jumps may be bugeados finding invisible pictures. Outside of that I did not find any additional problems in the game.
Reset 1-1 is a pretty casual title and it's worth being played for the low price it has. In fact you can wait even to see it in a bundle to play it, but its $2 are worth it and will keep you glued to the screen for a while.
