RetroVirus (itch) (Diff, abhyuSardesai, AccidentalMallu, Sebastian Beltran)

Retrovirus is a 2D puzzle-platformer game about a virus on a quest to infect the host body. As a virus, the player needs to mutate, evade deadly obstacles and solve puzzles to reach the nucleus of the cell.

This game was made as part of the Rapid Prototyping Development course at the Centre for Entertainment Arts.

Controls

Press and hold the Left Mouse Button to charge the virus' jump. The longer you hold the button the stronger the jump will be. You fill launch in the direction of the cursor.

Press 1 to mutate into your Bouncy form. This gives you the ability to move faster, jump higher and bounce farther.

Press 2 to mutate into your Heavy form. This allows you to push heavy objects but limits your mobility.

Press 3 to mutate Spiky form. You'll be able to pierce certain surfaces.
