A: We wanted to portray the difficulty of someone trying to "come out of the closet". It's a difficult process, especially alone..
Q: What was your inspiration behind the art?
A: Our art inspirations came from Cult of the Lamb, Lo-fi playlist bedrooms, and the Beauty and the Beast wardrobe! (moodboard below)
Q: What was your biggest hurdle?
A: For programming - bullet patterns in 2.5D perspective proved especially difficult. Molly used some heavy trigonometry magic to get it to work. For art - lack of experience in perspective-based game drawing (and not being a 2D artist). This was a growing experience for all of us!
