Riptide GP Renegade is the sequel to Riptide GP2 (see Mun evaluation of Riptide GP2 for more details). As his predecessor, it is a fun and dynamic game but it also brings his lot of novelties. Apart from the improvement of the graphics and the music that are always so excellent, the driving was a bit of a review with the addition of boosted starts as well as the principle of aspiration to go faster which makes the driving more dynamic. But there are also the new circuits of this opus that are much better made than those of the 2. Hidden objects and shortcuts are present and each circuit has a different environment. The only negative point around the circuits is that there are only 9 which is not disturbing at first but what can make the game repetitive after a while and thus reduce its lifespan for some people. However, speaking of life span, it has been greatly increased. While it took about 6/7H to finish the career mode in Riptide GP2, it will take several more hours to finish that of Riptide GP renegade. This same career mode also now hosts a scenario more pretext than anything else, boss fights and replaced the old races to the watch by slalom events that are more fun. In addition to the career mode, we still find the challenge mode and multiplayer that are always friendly. We just regret the unimportant number of players making it difficult to access the multiplayer. In conclusion, Riptide GP Renagade despite the fact that it can be a bit repetitive is a fun game dynamic and better than its predecessor. So I advise you to try it.

Especially the Support of Apple TV makes this Game a real Rallying point for Family Evenings. However, a Controller is urgently needed, the Control by Tilt of the Phone is too imprecise.

Delicious, such a game in which you race through a world that is graphically so beautiful and detailed (if you quickly get sick of games, you don't have to buy this app). By Racing you earn money with which you can pimp your craft. I have a lot of fun here, it was not that the app sometimes crashes at a certain jump. Therefore less than 5 stars.

With its sterile, robotic environment I expected this game to be kind of uninspiring and maybe dull. Instead it turned out to be very exciting. The storyline isn’t all that impressive, but the mechanics of the racing is. It’s by far the best aquatic racing game I’ve come across, as well as one of the better of all the racing games I’ve played. As awesome on Apple TV as it is on an iPad... not least because you can easily continue your game progress on Apple TV where you left off on your iPad and vice versa.

It's pretty, varied, career mode is long, difficulty well balanced. It doesn't take a lot of space which is surprising when you see the graphics that are more than honest. Nothing to reproach especially considering the price, do not hesitate you will not be on it. And as already stated, 0 ad, 0 purchase in = app. So why 4 stars? Already no game is perfect but especially you will play solo, the multi online is well there. But it's deserted... pity, I think the game would deserve a little more com.

If you like Riptide GP2 you will love this sequel! The Graphics are world-class, wonderful gameplay, lovely to play on both iPad as on Apple TV 4 (Jupp..) and no IAPs! On Apple TV 4 You can run four players at the same time with Splitscreen (or eight players if you play against the other seven over the Internet). And take the opportunity now for the past cost the SEK 109 on Apple TVn (well worth!) but now that it was also released for iOS so they have apparently lowered the price to 30KR so there is no need to hesitate! And by the way.. Do you Have Apple TV 2-3 so you can run the game from your iPhone/iPad against your Apple TV 2-3 via AirPlay and plug in your MFI controls against the iPhone/iPaden and get the same experience (incl multiplayer/splitscreen)!
