River Rogue

Well, it’s the zombie apocalypse. Startled by how cute the living dead can look, you slipped and fell down a canyon. To top it all, you landed right in the middle of a river pushing you straight into a big pile of anthropophagic love. You’re almost out of ammo, almost out of breath and almost out of options. Can you make your way upstream through the cracks in the undead barrage?

River Rogue is all about thinking on your feet! You will be mercilessly pushed downstream. Keep an eye on your stamina and make the most of your limited mobility. Fired at the right time, the few bullets left in your trusty rifle can open up whole new paths. Oh, and while you’re at it, try to grab a bit of cash on the way. Think of all the amazing things they’ll sell once the world has been restored…

Fabian Fischer created the game in a personal game jam, as an experiment on combining discrete, grid-based movement mechanics with a continuous, spatial timer.
