Early Access Review An extremely successful, terrific Free2Play game.
I've been playing "Rockshot" for just under a Week now and I have to say that it really did this Game to me-actually, I'm always quite critical Of Free games, but Rockshot has dissolved my Prejudices in Thin air. I would like to give a Short Replay Of my experiences: For a Free2Play title and also one in the early access Phase, Rockshot has really succeeded well-First of all, I have to praise the Performance: Great servers with constant, good Connection, As a Result, no lags, few to no Bugs and-unfortunately-some Crashes and Error Messages. These can usually be fixed with a Game Eustart or a Computer Reboot.
The Graphics, and you really have to admit this, are more than sufficient for such a game. It does not burden the Perfomance in any Way, but it is also not a Piece of jewellery, but it is also more than sufficient and actually quite beautiful to look at.
The Game itself offers an enormous Number of possibilities only shortly after Release (early access) and is really very varied-not only a PvP, but also a PvE mode is integrated into the Game which changes regularly.
As far as I know, nine Cards can already be played, but certainly some more will be patched in the near Future.
These are really great to play and already feel very mature and balanced.
The Game Modes in the PvP sector are also great-In addition to the Fast Games solo or in a Group (which include Free-for-space, Team Dead-match And the Raid Modes, among others) there is an extremely complex Raid mode for Teams.
In this one, two Teams play against each other and-logically-have to attack or defend.
There is also a very diverse Editor for the defense Mode, with the Help of which you can create a really unique Fortress, which you will then have to defend.
Generally, Multiplayer mode feels great and I can't wait for new Modes and Maps to deploy.
Now I come to an extremely important Point-the Own Setup, which includes weapons, Gadgets, Etc.
So far, four Classes are playable (Assault, Gunner, Sniper and Hunter) that can all carry different Weapons. There are not very many Weapons to Choose from yet-in each Category about 2-5.
Here it must be noted that the Weapons need to be released gradually, and have the Option of temporary (i.e. temporary) or permanent weapons.
But more about the Weapons in itself-first of all I would like to go into the only Aspect that bothers me a bit or worries me a little: The inGame Shop.
In addition to the so-called "Dollen" (the inGame currency) there is also the Real Money currency "Gold."
I have to say that an early access title, plus a free to play, must, of course, also finance itself. Hence the Real Money currency. Pretty much all Weapons (in addition to a few special ones) are available in the Shop for about £5-10.
Of course, there are also a number of cosmetic Items to buy, but of course this is an immense Difference.
But The Weapons are also playable and this takes a little Time, but you can really only enjoy them.
The second contrast point is the Balancing of the individual Weapon types-while a Sniper is usually a One-hit on the Torso, an Assault rifle like the AK-47 or the M16 already takes up more Accuracy, Skill and Patience. The Machin Guns are also very strong.
However, I am confident that some Changes will still be patched there and certainly also Nerfs.
All in all, Rockshot is a comparative Masterpiece in the Free2Play Scene.
Variety is definitely there and the individual Maps, Weapons and Modes really have already worked out in some fine ways. Due to the free Factor, downloading and Testing really can't hurt this Game;)
Here is another Points conclusion.
Pro's:-Varied gaming Experience (Maps, weapons, Modes etc ...)-Great performance-Designed for Tactics and Teamwork, great to enjoy with Friends-Subtleties at all Corners and Edges partially elaborated shortly after Release Kontra's:-Partly Missing Balancing of Weapons-No Pay2Win, but some Benefits from Real Money use EDIT (after another 15 Hours of play): I have found some Bugs and Bugs, but I am still very satisfied and confident.
EDIT: The inGame Shop has been limited to exclusively cosmetic Items three new Maps and for the Raid Mode have been implemented. Ejn Big Plus!
EDIT: The Servers were shut down for good on 07.09.2018-too bad, because the Game had Potential.
