Rookie on the Rise

Rookie on the Rise is a sci-fi visual novel that takes place on the pages of a sketchbook! Help write the story of a rookie space ranger on his chaotic first day of training. 

GCPL Game Jam 2022 Submission

My interpretation of the theme "connected worlds"  centers around the idea of connecting the fictional world to reality. In this game, I want to connect my world to the world I created in this story.  Further,  these worlds will connect to the player's world.  

I went for a handmade look and feel, using my own photos and illustrations. So it's as if the player is seeing the story through my eyes on the pages of my sketchbook.
