Root Tower Defense

Root Tower Defense is a game I made for the Finnish Game Jam 2023, part of the Global Game Jam 2023. The game draws inspiration from old tower defense games, but it's differentiated by the need to spread your roots before you can build towers. However the roots are not only there to hold the player back, as they also slow nearby enemies.

Note: There are some issues with aspect ratio, I recommend trying fullscreen.
