Roots of Ragnarok

This was an entry for the Global Game Jam 2023.

This is a showcase game. The majority of the game wasn't implemented (as this was our first game jam).

You can not kill enemies, but you can see the attack animation working. You can also move around and jump.

Controls

• Jump: Arrow Up
• Move Left/RIght: Arrow Left / Arrow Right
• Attack: Arrow Down

Description

Roots of Ragnarok is a game about a minor god of norse mythology, Modi, that is on a demand to save Yggdrasil, by travelling to Niflheim, and protect the tree's roots from being eaten by the evil Nidhogg.
